Road Rage Rampage is a side-scrolling action driving game where your car is also a weapon. You race from left to right along a dangerous road packed with obstacles and hostile cars, blasting a path forward as you go. It mixes the thrill of driving with the satisfaction of clearing the road in style.

The good news is that you do not have to aim. Your car's weapons target and fire automatically, so you can keep your full attention on the road. Your job is to keep moving forward, jump over obstacles and slam down on top of enemy cars to crush them. When a tougher enemy gets in the way, you can launch rockets to blow it apart. Coins lie along the track for you to collect, and save signs act as checkpoints, so you do not have to start from the beginning every time something goes wrong.

Between races you head to the garage, which is where the game really opens up. Here you can spend the cash you have earned on upgrades for your car, including a better engine, tyres, nitro, saw blades, armour and heavier weapons. Each improvement makes your next run stronger, so there is always a reason to race again. There is also a level editor where you can build your own tracks, which adds even more to try once you have played through the main roads.

Here are some tips for a smoother rampage:
- Keep moving. Slowing down gives enemies more time to hit you, so stay on the throttle.
- Save rockets for the strong enemies. Your automatic guns can handle the weaker ones.
- Grab every coin you can reach safely. More cash means faster upgrades.
- Upgrade armour and engine early. A tougher, quicker car makes the later stretches of road much easier.
- Use the save signs as goals. Reaching the next checkpoint protects your progress.
