Devil Trap Dash is a tricky platform game where every level is out to get you. The goal looks easy: run to the door and step inside. But as soon as you start moving, the room has other plans. Floors drop away, hidden spikes shoot up, the ceiling comes crashing down, and sometimes the door even runs away from you.

Each stage is made up of a few rooms, and every room hides its own surprise. You run and jump toward the door, keeping your eyes open for anything that might change. If a trap gets you, you restart the room and try again. Because the traps are hidden, you usually discover them by falling into them. The trick is to remember where each one was so you can avoid it on the next attempt. Reach the door to clear the room, and clear every room to finish the stage.

You will die a lot in this game, and that is exactly the fun of it. Every death reveals a new trap, so you learn each room bit by bit until you finally make it through. The moment you outsmart a level that tricked you again and again is very rewarding, and the sneaky surprises often make you laugh. You can play alone or grab a friend for 2 Player mode on one keyboard. Once you know the levels well, Speedrun mode lets you see how fast you can clear the whole game.

Some tips will save you a few deaths. Move carefully on your first run through a room, because rushing usually means walking into the trap. Pay attention to anything that looks a little off, such as an odd gap or a strangely placed block. When you die, take a second to think about what triggered the trap before you try again. Do not trust the door to stay still. And in Speedrun mode, plan your route in advance so you do not waste time.
